Suicide Awareness Support

10th September was World Suicide Prevention Day  – this is such an important date to us at Inclusion and we’re working with students around these important issues. We’ve put together some resources and support below

Suicide is complex and often a combination of individual, relationship, community, and societal risk factors that can increase the possibility that a person will attempt suicide.

While there is rarely a single cause for suicide, there are often warning signs which may increase likelihood of an attempt. Learning them can save lives.

Take a look at this short video from Papyrus that depicts just what it can feel like.

We’ve added some links to other sites and resources that offer support and advice.

If you are concerned about a friend or family member please talk to them about it and reach out for help.
